Placer gold exploration, Yukon

For the past 30 years I have been exploring and communicating Yukon’s surficial geology. This has included placer gold deposit studies, mineral exploration-related surficial geochemistry, ice age reconstructions, landslide studies, and most recently, the geological context of Nun cho ga - North America’s best preserved woolly mammoth.

Services I provide include: surficial mapping, placer exploration and development planning, and support with reclamation guidance. I also provide technical support for those looking to market their placer mine. In the mineral exploration industry I assist with planning surficial geochemistry programs in both glaciated or unglaciated terrain.

Exploration

Mammoth Terrain Inc. holds placer gold properties in many of Yukon’s mining districts. Currently the Goldfinger Property is for sale. This property is located 8 km west of Gold Rush’s Rick Ness. Contact us for further information.

Discovery

I am particularly passionate about sharing knowledge of Earth’s wonders with the public through field excursions, presentations, film, photography, writing, and grade-school education.

Communication
